your fortune in a cookie

I'm a sucker for fortune cookies, especially if they've got Engrish in them, so this morning I was thrilled to see fortune cookies being sold at the counter of the local Mini-Stop. They're in little dark red and gold packets with a dragon and whatever lucky Chinese hat-like thingy design. On the front it says: Gold Coin, Your Fortune in a Cookie.

And my fortune for today says: Try to be selective about opportunities that come your way. You might take on more than you can handle.

Cool, it makes sense, but it's not Engrish, which is a bit of a disappointment. Nevertheless, it's not bad; it only costs five bucks after all. And the cookie's a little chewy, and that I like.
